B&B Tropicante
| The B&B Tropicante is a couples or singles-only, downtown, two room bed and breakfast, located on the center of Mahahual's famous beach front malecon. This converted two bedroom apartment has individual sleeping rooms, each with private baths, and share a common kitchen and living area. Both have private balconies that overlook the ocean, the perfect place to enjoy coffee and breakfast in the morning or tequilas and wine at night. Located above one of Mahahual’s premier oceanfront eateries, B&B guests receive preferred beach seating and VIP treatment. The B&B Tropicante is perfect for those not wanting to drive or prefer being close to downtown amenities. Located just a block from the bus station, a very easy and inexpensive way to visit Mahahual, (check out our Fun Bus Trip !) it is just a two minute walk to the front door of this convenient location. Has wifi and a complimentary US/Canada phone service. Oh, and did we mention it is located on the nicest beach in the area. Reef protected, it is always calm and warm, with no sea grass and cleaned daily. Bring lots of sun screen, you'll need it! Ocean Room The ocean room opens directly to the ocean. This bedroom has a wonderful walk-out balcony from the bedroom that overlooks the Caribbean and the downtown beach. There is a comfortable queen size bed, a desk and ceiling fans in case the ocean breezes are not blowing. The bathroom for this room is private but not located in the bedroom and must be accessed from the semi-private area. Garden Room The garden room is located on the back side of the apartment, through a breezeway that includes a sun hammock area. This room also has a comfortable queen size bed, desk and ceiling fan and a private entry bathroom. The private balcony for the Garden Room must be assessed through the public area and overlooks the beautiful Caribbean and oceanfront malecon. Semi-Private Area: This is the living room and kitchen area of the apartment. Both room’s occupants are allowed access and use of this area. The semi-private area also includes a mechanical area where the water and gas controls are for the restaurant below so this area can be accessed for unscheduled maintenance activities such as pumping water or changing gas bottles, usually done during maid service time. The semi-private area is open for personnel maintenance access from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM only. It is otherwise an area for guests only and to be private. Our ambiance is intended for those wanting a quiet and "tranquilo" Mexican experience. |
